Director Tiffany Williams is an award winning and Internationally published hair stylist and make up artist with 12 years’ experience in the hair and beauty industry. She has worked in New Zealand and Australia, in film and television and specializes in fashion and bridal hair.
My passion for hair styling started at a young age. I spent most of my days after school cleaning the floors of my mother’s salon for pocket money. I remember my first speech in college being a live demo on how to style your hair for the school formal. Little did I know then that these moments would lead me down an exciting path of pursuing a creative career within the hair industry.
As I grew in the industry so did my knowledge of people. I learnt the value of truly listening to women and turning their vision into a reality. As a stylist you are more than just a ‘hairdresser’. You’re a creative artist, an interpreter and a really great listener. We not only change the way you look on the outside but also change how you feel on the inside. We interpret your vision, mix it in a colour bowl, snip away the ends and style it perfectly to empower the feminine goddess that lies within.
Hair styling started as a natural talent that has blossomed through extensive training and constant upskilling, working alongside some highly skilled and successful senior stylists. My passion lies in bridal work. There is nothing more exhilarating for me than to be part of such a momentous event in someone’s life. These are memories that will be looked back on for decades to come.
I really enjoy the entire process of preparing my bride for their wedding day, discussing Pinterest boards and ideas, and bringing it all together with the dress, makeup and theme.
I love the diversity in all different hair types and the challenge they each bring. The part I mostly enjoy is seeing the pure excitement and happiness on my bride’s face, knowing that she is 100 percent satisfied with the vision we created.
When I am not busy working on my website, or building my empire, I am busy being a mother to a beautiful little girl. I like to spend my spare time taking her and the dog out on adventures, and on the odd occasion enjoying a much needed mummy break with my partner, a bottle of bubbly and some friends. I enjoy everything Marlborough has to offer and am privileged to be able to call it home.
